Bio : Terrence O’Neil Frierson ( T-Bone ) I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan in 1962. I began my musical journey at Barber middle School in Highland Park Michigan. At the age of 12, I started traveling, playing the drums and singing and with Rev. James Marks & the Voices of Heaven out of Detroit, Michigan. During that time, I recorded my first solo titled "I Want To See My Savior's Face" written by Rudolph Stanfield Jr. After graduating from Highland Park High school, I joined the United States Army and served from 1980-1984. After my military experience, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to fulfill my dreams with The Grammy Award Winning recording Artist Sounds of Blackness. The Sounds of Blackness gained international recognition in 1991 with the album release of “The Evolution of Gospel” produced by Jimmy Jam Harris & Terry Lewis of Perspective Records & A&M records with the smash Hit “Optimistic” my first Professional Recording. My first solo CD in 2007 titled “The Time Has Come”, touring in London and Japan. My second CD was in 2012 titled “Taste-N-See That the Lord Is Good”. I am currently working on my new single (I Never Knew) with Producer and Song writer Ed (Wood) Harrison of Diamond Ring Records. My latest single is Grandma's Hands written by: Bill Withers, the remake is Produced and Arranged by Keith (Father time) Portor, boppbuwopp records. "Til I Found Your" is the latest single by the Sounds of Blackness written by Jimmy Jam& Terry Lewis. All Thanks To GOD.
